Rarae aves- seems it was wrong of me to imagine they should flock together, perhaps inevitable that I should wind up paying for my fascination with cliché in some specie or another. Anyway, sub specie aeternitatis, it doesn't really amount to much, pocket change, really. In Augustine, eternity is conceived as an absolutized version of the present moment.
