People are always looking for technical solutions to social problems, tempting to chastise them for that & people often do, not really any sort of clean distinction between the technical & the social, at least these days, quite intertwined. Mostly when there's an issue it's the choice of technical solution that's the real problem, or there's an obvious direct nontechnical solution but an elaborately technical one is chosen instead. Though I've always been fond of Rube Goldberg, so I don't know.

Sad to watch people tangled up in their own devices anyway, maybe I should watch some Cool Devices(banned in Canada) later, right now going to valk to town with my borrowed Walser while laundry dries, read it on a bench in the sunshine (chicks dig Walser), maybe get some pupusas or something.
