Loaded a bunch more books in the car, packed some other stuff (toys, art, cookware) to move tomorrow, drove overladen car to Greenfield, was fed interesting improvised curry, fried dumplings, watched Blazing Saddles, saddened as always by the decline of our culture since the '70s.

Carried the heavy books in & upstairs, dodging devil-may-care pups with an eye to not breaking their spines, took the dogs for a walk.

Overtired, thirsty, back hurts.

My mom got home OK, but their water's off. Some sort of countywide issue, apparently.
